Hi :)

Anyone have a method of adjusting the gear stick to stop the gear rod buzzing in forth gear please?

Or an extra washer between clip and rubber. Do you have the spring washer under it.

If it is still buzzing when it is out, you should consult a wizard.
Catweazle for instance :P

   Harry Potter, eat your heart out. :D

I've tried to be a bit scientific about it and adust it a little at a time. I think it was under tension when in gear, and a lot of vibration was being transmitted through it. It's a little better. Perhaps when i get it right, i make some alighnment marks on it. :)

Just hang something heavy on it. Like a good Bluetooth speaker if you got no car stereo, or a bag of beers. F*** these old cars. They are ATTENTION WHORES.

I like catweazle better.

My brother had the same problem with his 2CV special.
It is years ago, so I remembered as you mentioned the tension just now.
It takes a little fiddling to have it right, but it is a good idea to make some marks if it is correctly fitted.
