Been a while !

So.....Noticed a wee spot of oil when parked up, on a normally "dryish" engine.
With visions of crankshaft oil seals, oil cooler unions etc. I removed the fan and rubber shield.....odd, all looks fine and dry.

A brief wipe around with a cloth and degreaser and I put it all back together....As my nose was level with the coil I spotted the source of the oil spotting.....the COIL, dripping from the middle joint. Not seen that before...Replaced with a spare and all is well.

Also managed to get my "clacker" indicator switch back in, no more misindications........

Also spotted the holed crossbox....

If anyone is looking at this thread, you will know that the van has a nice, shiny Chassis on it now. I held on to the old one with the intention of fixing it up and storing .......(goodness knows why....)

Top and bottom plates perforated and some of the stiffeners on top and bottom flanges.

Anyway, took the grinder to it yesterday, its not too bad :)
