Post We have liftoff.....AZU 250 rebuild thread
my Sunday........

New Chassis from Ken in a few weeks so I thought I'd better get busy.

Underside of body is remarkably good, Floors replaced when it came over last April but the rest has some brittle coating on it.....when chipped away, I'm seeing original paint, (apart from rearmost crossmember which is a bit crusty, both rear corners have had a wee whack at somepoint)

You may want to consider creating (unless you have one already) a topic about your vehicle, rather than bits everywhere regarding the same project. Its much easier for someone to follow the progress. :)

˝We have a liftoff.... ˝
is a good title for this project.
So I would not start any other topic about it. :)

Keep on posting please.

In truth, its not too bad.....Top plate is perforated, handbrake crossmember, some holes in the bottom plate and front chassis legs.

Its all fixable and thats what I'll be doing...eventually, but I also like the thought of a fit and forget. Would have needed body off for proper repair anyway, so i thought, i'm in this far anyway.....why not..

Where are you located in NL?
For some bizzare reason, although I live in Scotland, I've ended up working for Dutch companies for past 20yrs....Currently a company with HQ in Woerden.
