1974 ? It has no oil warning light. In my van there is an extra wire to fit a warninglight. ( original wiringloom )
Should not be too much work to fit one

Yeah, I also have a spare wire at the front, but no light on the dash.....I'm assuming the accountants saved 20 centimes by leaving out the lamp on the dash !

Question: Would a '94 (correction '74) AZU250 have a "key start" or keyed ignition + start button ?

Looks like there has never been anything on the steering column

My wiring is a bit messed up, so currently I have a keyed ignition and a toggle switch to start

In 1994 there where no 2cv Vans made anymore . ;) production ended in the ´70 s .
BUT :::: the 1974 van has a keyed ignition and a pushbutton to start. :D

nothing much to report.....

Played around with ride height and tyre pressures, now sitting pretty close to factory specs and 26PSI all round....still a little "crashy" over bumps.. any suggestions?

Fitted new heater/vent/dump pipes
Finally bought the Airfilter>carb pipe, Van is a heck of a lot quieter now with its airfilter fitted

Replaced notchy alternator with spare, made new backing for warped door card. Nearly choked on the cost of the wee silly trim clips....

Looking at my drivers door I'm missing the doorlock rod and, the connector at the lock end...so I still have to open window to get to the outside handle.....

I'll have to strip the lock from the other side so I can make the bit of the lever thats missing, and see if I can modify a later lock rod.......(unless someone has these bits lying around??

Its this style of lock and I "think" I'm missing the bit carefully drawn in red..... Can anyone confirm ? I can't find any diagrams...

Been driving around locally till my confidence builds....

In fact, found a diagram on burton site but they don't seem to have the bits...

I think the rod is same as a later car but its number 10 I need (or need to make....)

From personal experience, a full set of Michelin tyres goes a long way to smoothing out the ride and improving handling. This may seem an expensive luxury but worth every penny. Funnily enough, I had a very noisy engine cured by fitting of correct air filter. Seems they are (effectively) induction silencers as well.
