I think I know the answer already, but just to confirm.....

1. When working on brake lines, (gearbox swap), the brake pipe seals should be replaced...?

2. Having always made up my own pipes on "normal" rebuilds, I understand that this is prob not practical on A-series due to the flaring tool needed being different to "normal".

Cheers

Front discs!
Never really thought about making another pipe up! Tricky, as you suggest.

If I recall, the pipe seals are just a little rubbery (though not rubber) tube. Myself, after inspection, if I thought they would seal, I would re use them.

Not sure if there are different fluid types for discs. If so, its critical they are the correct ones.

If you have split the callipers, I would replace the little seal between the halves.

Planning on staying with drums, but different ratios :)

Seals are different for lhm and regular fluids....

LHM ones have green stripe on them the others a red. If you use the wrong ones they can dissolve. But if they are not split and still flexible i do reuse them.

...but those are not the correct seals for drum brakes, (which is what 48pop is asking about the seals for).
These are: https://www.ecas2cvparts.co.uk/brake-pi ... -1415.html
They usually re-seal ok but they're only 48p each, so for peace of mind, you might as well replace them.
