apologies, but 'recycled office furniture' has never been something which impressed me. ;)
Production of my design of chassis (SLC) started in 1994, with 2,540 manufactured so far.

Looks good, i only did see this type of transport with wheels chassis. And i don't like those... ;-)
ps. What is the bar in the rear end of the chassis for?

Hi AZL,
that bar was to prevent the same type of 'damage in transit' which had affected the brand new Citroen chassis which we'd bought as a pattern to build a jig on which to fabricate replacements.
It arrived with one of the rear legs bent inwards by about 100mm after being dropped... :(

Yes that can happen, we had an english caravan that always had problems with closing the door. Later all the side came loose and sunk off. I made a little subframe and surpise the door closed perfectly. Later we heard from an ex-employé of the caravan dealer it had dropped of the trailer when they were unloading it....stupid bastards.... :evil: :evil:
