increased fuel consumption?
So why does my wife get almost 50 mpg from her Dyane?
( Whereas I barely manage 40 when I drive it, with the same tyre pressures... :lol: )

As for any possible damage to tyres from using Citroen's recommended pressures, just checked the 145 Firestones which are on two of our Dyanes and they're still in reasonable condition, despite being 'something over' 10 years old...

Bar is quite common unit of pressure on countries where is used metric units. PSI, Pounds per Square Inch, now much is one pound and one inch on metric system... :roll:

All those is very known, as I was in my earlier life working on a pneumatic workshop. PSI for American and British customers, bar (and Atm, sometimes) for Finnish (and some others), Kpa for most of Europe. Same issue with threads, even with pipe threads. And voltage, 110vac for America and some others...

Ken, I understand your point but that is not a continuous situation and even if it was that tyre would never reach 30 psi.
That said I guess 22 or 23 at the front is not too much, is it?
