Btw, a few months back, I sold one of the Dyanes which have been sitting around here for far too long.
Before it went, I replace its ancient Firestone 560 tyres with a set of these Maxxis tyres.
Considering how easy they were to fit, I intend to buy another set very soon for my everyday Dyane; definitely before March 2019, when the £ will most probably drop through the floor... :(

Ken, now I quite understand why Firestone is so hard. Thank you for sharing the picture.
Anyway, there must be something on these tyres that make many 2cv fans use them... ;)

I managed to find Michelin €10 less expensive than Firestone. Ordered two. :)

My 4 x Maxxis have arrived. :D

I have a leaking rim. The inside of the rim has not grown with rust, so I thought I may try cleaning it up and sealing it inside where the rim parts join, with seam sealer.

Any thought?
