Has anyone had any success with fixing split/cracked shrouds?

I thought Dyane had tin shrouds and 2cv rubber. Just what I heard.

Scary prices, hence wanting repair advice. :D

It's age-related, not model-related: earlier cars had metal, later cars had rubbery stuff. (Not sure when they changed: maybe early 80's?)

I have some spare metal shrouds around that I don't want.

I HATE selling things  Not because I want to keep them, but people always faff with money.

Whatever they're worth to you  How much are they outside 'normal' 2cv world?
