 It should give an error message, (in Red) if the image is to large.
 
 Until recently, I found I had to make  a few attempts to upload a picture.
 For my connection a basic (3Mb) at busy times the upload failed.
 I guess the host site,  times-out,  waiting to a response from a slow upload.
