Hi!

I want a beige roof. Either "Gazelle" or "Albatross". Have picture-googled the roofs and checked them out in every web-shop, and it is just plain impossible to get a feel for the color on these two roofs. The pictures vary widely!
I want the roof that matches these seatcovers the best:

Hope someone can help with pictures they know display the colors correct for each roof, thanks!

Hi Eirik,
maybe drop Matt a line, I'm sure he'd post a couple of material samples...

I'm sure I had loads of swatches from Matt at some point. Great roofs.

I don't know about the fabric-roofs.... I'm a bit lazy. Don't fancy the "cleaning and impregation" which it seems should be done from time to time on those roofs?? (Sorry if impregation means something else than I mean :D )

Judging by the pictures on Burtons web-page, Albatross seems almost white, so I guess Gazelle is the "Brownest" one of the two colors.

Yeah it's true, a bit of maintenance is required on the fabric roofs every now and then. They do last a lot longer though.

couloured original 2cv roofs are les resistant than the black ones. They are getting pourous due to UV light. I had a grey one that started leaking everywere after 1 year.

My Rialto one has lasted 8 years. That's enough for me, considering the cost. But then again, my cars are always parked in a garage except when on trips.

I'll answer my own question. A very kind dealer sendt me physical samples of the roofs in question. I took a picture of the samples together, so if anybody else are wondering the same, this will help. Turns out, especially the Albatross color is very wrong on many websites.
