 AMI 6 switches
Can anyone tell me, what these switches do? On each side of the main beam control light.

 Re: AMI 6 switches
Assuming the one on the left is a 'turn to operate' type, it could fulfil the same function as on other early A series vehicles, which was to choose on which side of the car the parking lights are illuminated. Is the other switch a 'pull to operate' type? If so, it could be for the wipers, but not too sure about that... EirikJ wrote: Can anyone tell me, what these switches do? Re: AMI 6 switches
Thank you Ken. Yes, the one on the left can be turned to each side. It has an arrow on it. So you are probably right, although I seem to remember the parking lights came on with the light switch? But I don't recall if it was both sides or just one. I have the same switch on two of my 2CV's from the 80's, but in those cars it turns on the hazard warning lights. The one to the right is a pull-to-operate. So the wiper switch are just for one speed then. I'm using the AMI6 instrument housing in my "AMI6-rolling-chassis-with-2Cv-body" build

That switch on the left with the arrow on is a three-position switch: off to the middle, and then left or right for the parking lights on just one side of the car. I have the same on my H-van and AZU. Presumably the idea was you'd not drain the battery so much when parking on a road.
