I hope this doesn't sound like a dumb question but can I swap out my Veglia speedometer/instrument cluster in my 2CV6 that reads in KPH to MPH without having to replace the gear drive in the transmission? I would imagine the only difference between a KPH and a MPH speedometer are the numbers. But would the odometer be accurate? Or would it be off by .6 ? I've seen some on Ebay.UK. Some are made by Veglia and some by Jagger. Is there a difference? Otherwise they look the same to me. |

i don't think there any problem in switching the speedos. And the maker is Jaeger. You can use Veglia or Jaeger i think citroen did use whatever was cheaper or available. Some times due to strikes in several factories. So i had a Landrover that had a french ducellier ignition due to strikes at Lucas. |

I swapped out a 425 engine and Traficlutch gear box for a 605 engine and later gearbox on my AZU 250. the speed reads high by about 10 Kph. |

of course they have different gearboxes. But the 2cv6 ones should be interchangable. |
