Hi everyone. I know how hydrolics work, but what is the function of a tandem master cylinder? In what way does it differ from a single one? |

It;s all about safety. If a single MC fails you got no brakes.. If a tandem MC fails worst case you've still got rear-brakes... or better both front brakes... |

Thanks Geo So they are independent circuits that share the push rod and fluid. Why do you have to connect the rear pipe to the front of the MC? I like to know how things work if I have disturbed or replaced them. ![]() |
