Hi everyone.
I know how hydrolics work, but what is the function of a tandem master cylinder? In what way does it differ from a single one?

It;s all about safety. If a single MC fails you got no brakes.. If a tandem MC fails worst case you've still got rear-brakes... or better both front brakes...

Thanks Geo
So they are independent circuits that share the push rod and fluid. Why do you have to connect the rear pipe to the front of the MC?
I like to know how things work if I have disturbed or replaced them. :)
