Post A-panel bracket - extended?
Hey guys,

Has anyone seen brackets for the A-panels that are longer than normal so there can be airflow out of the back of them as well? I've heard of them being manufactured but can't track any down.

regards,

fritz

Do you mean the wing valence panel? (The A panel is the triangle between the A pillar, sill and bulkhead).

The lengthened quick release ones are made by VGS: http://www.vgs2cv.be/index.php/nl/webshopvgsvm/rallyraidshopnl/vleugelhaakjes-2cv-detail

You can fit them in standard position, or quick release them, turn them round and have the valence panel tilted out to let the heat out.

AAAAhhhh you did look at my foto's ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) I fixed them with a little steelplate to the fender... I think this will give more airflow under the bonnet, however you may need to have little spoilers at the end of the a panels (otherwise the air curls to inside instet of sucking the air out).. I need to investigate that but it looks cool doesn't it.....

I'm doing this car (again) on a budget and 45 euro for the VGS ones is to much for me....
(I'm still Dutch you know....)
