A friend bought a new cap for the master brake cylinder of his traction. In screwing it on the outer part already turned free from the inside part. So because the bord was so flimsy he peeled it open and got a nice surprise.... Wow great quality materials.....    An other friend manouvered his traction in the garage last week and his new steering wheel broke in half. Cheapy production India didn't weld the spokes to the inner ring they just were cast in the bakelite mass....Nice..

Yes, please add the Valeo fuelpump to this (probably long) list of shitty new parts - bought a new pump recently, 2 models available - I bought the little more expensive Valeo one - long story very very short : I did pump but not enough to overcome the height difference from pump to the higher carburettor. Took me half a day of testing, measuring, mounting it , taking it off several times etc. I received a new one - have not yet tested it .... Until now the old original fuelpump is doing the job, without complaints. |
