Has anybody got a list of bearings needed for a 2CV6 gearbox? I'm planning to rebuild mine as is is whiny as fuck, and somewhere around september I'll be going on a 3000+ km vacation in the 2CV.
I've got the parts list, but from that I can't make out anything other than sizes, and that's not enough. Diff and output hubs are easy enough, no problem there, but I need to know the bearings for the main and output shafts. Which are ball or roller bearings and what about all the needle bearings, are they a regular product that I can order from my supplier or do I have to order them somewhere 2CV-specific and pay double for that?
Of course I also plan to adjust all kinds of play and backlash and whatnot, but I have to know the bearings first, get a quote, sum all the parts up and see when I can make that kind of expense.
