 Clonk!
A few times recently, but especially last night, I've noticed a noise coming from the back end of my van - a 'clonk' noise, similar to what you would hear from a loose front shock mounting plate. Anyone got any idea what it might be? Wheel nuts are tight, shocks secure and the knife edges haven't escaped.
I wondered if it could be an arm bearing away, but I'm not sure how to check for that.

 Re: Clonk!
Worn arm bearings are just too common with Acadiane, to test - remove shock absorber, jack up that corner and axle stand or better, release all spring tension by winding out rear suspension rod, wag around, feel for wear. smyth602 wrote: A few times recently, but especially last night, I've noticed a noise coming from the back end of my van - a 'clonk' noise, similar to what you would hear from a loose front shock mounting plate. Re: Clonk!
The repair should be cheap. It is not on the list.

It's on the next page, that's why... 'Clonk, clonk, clonk' was $500, last time I looked. 2CViking wrote: The repair should be cheap. It is not on the list.
