For those wondering:

For any individual alloy or steel wheel, ET and Offset both have the same meaning and value. The term ET originates from the German word 'Einpresstiefe' which translates as 'insertion depth'.

from a wheel forum.

Sorry, you are confused with "zero-point steering" and ET...

As you can see from picture, there is some difference between wheel mounting point and wheel centre. I'm not sure about DS, but Sm has ET 35 and have almost same suspension parts with D-series...

Never seen what is 2CV ET, never measured that (yet)...

Standard A series wheel rims have 'around' 30mm positive offset/ET; the centreline of the rim sits inboard of the mounting surface on the hub.

92-(125/2) if anyone needs to check the maths, just about knocked myself out on a steel frame digging around in the shed for a new wheel rim

"It is a rare thing to see a really good wheel design.

...in the 1950s...some of the forged light-alloy wheels used in racing...were good..

In mass production ,though, the only place to see an utterly pure and thoroughly engineered wheel of modest cost was on a DS or 2CV Citroen."
