Anything I need to know here? I bought the whole set from ecas which comes with a little bag of nuts and bolts and rubber seals. I'm guessing I remove them from the three way and use the replacement seals in that,are there any easy means of changing the pipe itself?

tie a bit string on to the inner nut before you pull the pipe out , then leave the string as a draw to pull the new pipe in and out the hole
Bend the new pipes to match the old ones as close as you can get , often the long bit for the arm is out in relation to the pin/leg thing on the bracket

getting the pilot and nut in the 3 way is a bit of a mare, carefull bending the pipe its easy to neck it if you bend it against the edge of the hole. unscrew the 3 way block from the cross member to give yourself a bit of wiggle room

i used a very long screwdriver that fitted in slit of the mounting bracket. In turning i could put the treaded stud surprisingly easy through the axle pipe and put a nut on it.

A broom hand down the centre of the coiled pipe will help you push the locking bolt though the hole I have found.

I took them out of the axle this morning, I didn't bother tying anything to them as I'll use mig wire and feed it the other way first when I fit the new pipes.

Is it too late to suggest using the old ones as templates?

I keep an old set for just that purpose, using them to set the distance from outer edge of the arm to the intermediate support bracket, the angle between inner and outer end of the pipe and the shape of the pipe where it passes through the tube heading for the 3-way connector...

They're painted red and green, something which James and Sam will understand easily.

I did my own brakepipes (made them myself) one went perfectly into the whole, for the other one I used also mig wire, so it is doable...
