Post jumping on full lock?
been doing a load of finishing off bits on the race car today and found an odd issue that appears to be new. when on full lock and still turning the wheel everything appears to jump what I am assuming is a tooth on the rack/pinion? is this complete failure or have I not set the steering stops on the hubs correctly?
any help greatly appreciated

possibly the rack wasnt centered before you centered the steering - firs job is get the rack centered then the tie rod adjusters
{edit}
possibly a very very worn pinion bearing - its formed on to the body of the pinion an over time wears to allow up and down movement of the pinion/steering column, usually the balls fall out and lock the steering before it can jump a tooth
