hi guys - what range of torque wrench will cover most jobs on my 2cv? your views are greatly appreciated rr Ash |

Usually you need at least two torque wrenches to cover the complete range for 2CV, avoid using them in the outer ranges, so you'll need a small overlap. Not sure about the numbers but a look in your Haynes could give you the exact numbers. |

Britool AVT300A 5-33NM 40-300ftlb for engine work BUT- DO NOT FOLLOW RECOMENDED TORQUE FOR CYL HEAD BANJO BOLTS they will strip at 10nm half it and see if it leaks then nip it till it doesnt - they are accesible trough the fan housing and the engine will run for 10 mins from cold, no fan, with no ill effects 1/2 in drive for some chassis stuff but usually my weight x distance on the long breaker bar for wheel bearings and the like |

Inhave a 1/4 teng tool torque wrench and a 1/2 cheap screwfix one Both dont see daylight often enough but seems to cover the complete range |

Have a look on Ebay ... I bought a Britool half inch drive torque wrench on there for just over twenty quid. |
