Post Front Wheel Bearing
I'm endeavouring to change a front wheel bearing. I've been loaned a Citroen tool for the rear, it looks like it will do the front as well. The Haynes manual doesn't make it that clear but I'm assuming the hub is in 2 parts (dicounting the bearing, ring nut and seals). The part with the three wheel studs and the part which houses the bearing and king pin?
These need to be seperated? How is this done? Currently the hub is off the arm. Can the hub be seperated off the arm or is it easier to reinstall on the arm?
Many thanks in advance for any advice.

Steve

have a look through the history section James Wallace did one recently

there is the swivel housing and there is the hub - the disk with the 3 studs. The hub needs to come out 2 tyre levers will do the job or you can drift it out but the risk is high of messing it up.

once thats out then its retaining ring out with all the warnings about that and then the bearing will fall out
