Post subject:  Fuel tank inlet

Hi guys,

Away from the car and garage at the moment, I need to order some fittings now though so I wonder if anyone can help...

Could you please tell me the outside and inside diameters of the inlet to the fuel tank?

I need to order some fuel filler hose (it's for a special so can't go with the standard 2cv bits) and a brooklands style fuel cap.

Thanks in advance,

Fritz

On my pembletons on the plastic 2cv tank I use a flexible filler pipe I think it's nitrile based with a metal spiral in it it's internal 57mm there is a slight lip on a citroen tank once this is removed it does not leak .. I buy the bends if necessary off eBay in stainless from the exhaust pipe suppliers.

Great! Thank you very much for that!!

Away with work at present and wanting the parts at home waiting for me so I can crack on with it straight away... I've heard its been sunny in the uk and keen to get the lomax back on the road (and not weeing petrol everywhere!)

Thanks again,

fritz
