Hi - quick question What's the cause of a 2cv oil pressure light flickering/staying on at idle? Engine has oil in it and otherwise is reasonably ok. The light goes off as the revs rise. Thanks Will |

Another option..... oil to thin, try typical classic car oil..... |

Good point - it is a 2cv I have just purchased so although the engine is well topped up with oil who knows what type it is! I'll replace the pressure switch and change the oil for some 20/50 or 15/40 and see what happens. |

Halfords sell a 15w/40 mineral engine oil, which I use. Works just fine. Perhaps give that a go? |
