The nylon pipe should have some rubber sleeving fitted where it passes over the rear axle.
If you can free off the clips, or tie wraps, which secure the nylon pipe to the side of the chassis, that will make life easier when lowering the tank and lifting it back into position.
The connections for both fuel and electrics can be made with the tank resting on the ground underneath the car.
This was a recent chassis change 'as found', with the previous chassis change probably done by a Citroen main dealer under warranty.
I prefer to align the pipe closer to the centre, usually with a tie wrap round the axle to keep it well away from the swinging arm...
