However, I would like to insist a bit more on this old technology (I've also used 123 ignition on the previous engine but not yet on the 650 engine. :?

I never understand people who use computers and mobil phones but insist on old technology when it comes to cars?

Well I understand that they think that a modification towards electronics cannot be returned to original. That's of course a wrong asumption. The electronic stuff added can easily be taken off just before sale of the car. The people still sticking to original components are also of the opinion that the car has more value. Maybe that's only valid for people looking for original cars. But many fancy the improvements brought by the electronics and want to pay extra for the conveniences incorporated. So there is a truth for everybody. ;)

I have to admit you are both right. However my problem is I'm not an electronics expert, so I lack the know-how.
Also wouldn't like to spend a lot of money ...
Indeed I just want the car to move without those incovenient stops... ;) :)
