Anyone have any hints or tips for this? I have a red roof to go on my Special 8-)

The only advice I'd give is to refrain from piercing the roof with the two screws at the back for a couple of weeks to let the roof settle a bit. Otherwise it's pretty straightforward.

Make sure the tag at the top of the rear window gets properly located in the slot in the crossmember.

The boot corner pieces can be a pain in the arse, since the screws often seize or are rounded.

Russ is bob-on about leaving the screws on the outside.

Other than that, it's two 8mm bolts. Do 'em loosely at first, then shut the roof and fit the bootlid. With the back seat out, you can then tighten them in the right place.
