We all mad...
But isn't a 1200cc bmw a bit big!?
The r850r with twin spark would be my pick at 70 hp, plenty of room to turbo if required!

Luv u all.

Best to have the clutch as the 'fusible link', I reckon.

O shit, please don't show these pics, they are for 18+

That's why a little skid/sliding in the clutchplate isn't bad at all.. keeps you away from this shit (I hope)....

True, there's nothing worse than a dysfunctional shaft, so I've heard... ;)

Something I read about; contra-balance-weight. I knew it was there but not in the place where the flywheel has to go... I think I will get it off and see what happens then....

Otherwise I think I can make it happen....

It looks to me like the gearbox bolts are not is the same place as the R1100/1150 engine, compare with this picture.

Post Re: BMW 2cv engine conversion
Thanks Joolz, just the answer I want to here right now (not) :? :?

But the adaptor plate isn.t the thing which is worring me most...... I am going to make it myself.... Just like you did with pins in holes slamming the points into the alloy (good  ) and drill them out.....

What is worring me is the contra-weight-balance which sits exactly in the place of the 2cv flywheel, and because I have no drill/mill I can't make the piece between flywheel and engine.......

Otherwise I'm fine I guess.... found the 2 lost sparkplugs at the underside of the engine, but nothing 1-2-spark can't handle.......

2 2cv carburators for a start and I know it will run fine......

p.s. 2 of the valvecover mounting pieces (where the 2 frontscrews are going in are ript off too so need to weld some alloy in there, but I think it's possible to fix it..... (otherwise I woul'dn't have bought it did I)
Put on my sad face so could take it home for 300 euro....... so 3 euro per HP

:D :D :D :D
12mm plywood, no I'm not crazy this is just a mookup; I can try some things out accualy 3 times ((Looking at the dimensions of it)

I can connect the engine to a gearbox (will try a Original 2cv gearbox for a start), can do all the enginering and yes I will do a testdrive in my street with it, I sure it will hold a little ride,
when I'm satisfied with everything I will make it out of aloy/steel haven't decide yet....

Clever eh (fucking up an alloy plate would cost me a lot of money) fucking up this will cost me 3 euro (for an adaptor)......

Also today the electric petrol pump arrived, to feed the 2 2cv carbs.......

I'm thinking about taking a Ami 8 chassis it gives more strenght and I have one liying around in my garage....

how much is the diffrence in weight between a Ami 8 chassis including springs and
2cv6 chassis with springs...
