Hi legends,

Which of the two cylinder heads gets the hottest first or is more prone to overheat?
I will be fitting a Cylinder Head Temp sensor to one side so any suggestions of best location with enough meat to drill n tap equivalent of m8 10mm deep would be appreciated!

Having watched double temp gauge whilst racing on different engines I can tell you they are the same.

we had an aircraft style analogue one which we took out as all the drivers kept coming in to tell us one head was hotter than the other

when it comes to drivers sometimes a start button and a great big IDIOT light is all you need ( like the pop crossers)

What Sean said.

The more shit on the dash telling you what's wrong, the more shit you've got on your plate to worry about. It's a 2cv, there's so little to go wrong that when it does you'll know about it anyway. Chill the hell out, it's probably working fine.

Ooooh I like this I want one - Where do I get one?????

On my race car, on both engines, the temps are around the same, although the left one does always get to temp a little quicker than the other
