How much would a complete Dyane engine weigh, with a gearbox, the driveshafts and the exhaust crossbox still attached?

Two-person carryable with reasonable ease. Not one-person. An engine without box is borderline for one person if it's got the heavy flywheel still attached. One person can _just_ manhandle a complete engine/box setup into the chassis, but it's a bit "heave-lever-rest-wiggle".

TBH, I'd just split the engine and box.

HMM! No wonder I ache a bit this morning! :o I managed to get it into the back of the van, using a piece of board and a series of 'steps' I built from old wheels. Getting it back out was slightly easier and a lot quicker than I'd anticipated!
