took it for its mot today( btw its a right pile of junk, rough as a badgers arse but good mechanically
it pissed through its mot last year
this year and 2000 mls more & having done absolutely nothing to it (apart from changing one front suspension arm that had a good kingpin)
not too bad, but a fail
a bit of rust on the sill, yet it had the same last year
a weld on the replaced rear lower seatbelt anchorage point didnt have a "continuous" weld yet it passed last year
headlamps too low yet the adjusting knob was right out
i wound it in but was told it would be looked at at the return test

i didn,t complain as its no big deal i thought it would have failed on much worserer

My Acad spectacularly failed its MOT today on no less than 13 separate points (plus 8 advisories). Think yourself lucky :p

Haha, I appreciate the offer anyways ;)

Its mostly a combination of overly-lenient MOTs in the past and neglect of the 'I'll get to that next month' variety finally catching up on me. None of it is massively difficult to fix, although I'm in the market for a bearing removal tool as both my rears are gone.

Ecas are going to make a small fortune off of me tomorrow too

The latest acquisition had an MOT less than a month ago. No advisories.

The seller looked quite surprised when I handed him several chunks of metal from a rear inner wing.
