Hello Everyone ![]() I've been abit of a lurker here.. So i'll introduce myself before I beg for your help! Im Katie...20..I'm currently at uni where it is slowly becoming my mission to replace my blood with Vodka... or Wine.... Or Cider...? ![]() I have a lovely little battered and bruised 2cv6 which is a mixture of cream and red. Its my first car and can't imagine or want to be driving anything else. Anyway.... I FINALLY got my car up and running with Tax MOT and insurance and took it out for its first proper drive in a few months. Previously to this it had been sat on my drive not doing much. (However in the last month its been on a few short journeys to the garage etc). But... whenever I try and accelorate in the car (in every gear) it keeps jumping ( like when your running out of petrol type jumping and its spluttering - yet I have nearly a full tank of it) and the engine keeps kind of "popping" or making loud-ish banging sounds at .. and im not entirely sure what it is... Also dont know if its related.. but the car feels abit faster than I rememeberd it to be... and kind of feel sometimes like its driving itself a little abit! Anyway... Im not sure whats wrong with it as I'm a 2CV Novice....so do you guys have any suggestions? - Apparently it recently got some spark plugs if that helps Thanks Katie xx |

Never had a problem with Betsy regarding that problem. We gave her a good blowing out today 65 mph on some cornish windey rural roads. Oh and hood back. |
