Success. After a while of dreding this task, ive succesfully changed tge suspension, it was a doddle, i got home and thort screw it why not, so 3 hours later im done!!
I must admit it was very easy, but it seems one of those daunting tasks, that one wishes never to do, but it was so easy!
So what cock ups happened?
None. Apart from forgetting to put boots on. So done that!
I had bought new knife edges and new r clips just incase, and i just used them anyway! The rode hight wasnt right after first owering, but its not bad, its wonky like ita alwaus been, so next few days ill sort it out

the old can was completly shot, cpuld see the sprinks!!

Also worked out which way can went by measuimg, with a piece of trusty string!!
All in all a success, however need to drive it first!

Nice one!

Yeah, it is a bit scary at first, but make sure you have a good day to do it (no appointments to drive to or anything), print it out/copy the handbook and have a go. IF/when you get stuck, come and ask on here.

Good Luck!

(you'll feel v. good when you've done the timing, it's not hard but it does feel like an achievement!).

What are you doing with the old can? Would you like to swap it for some beer or cash?
