carefull of some of the big ones dont fit between the cup and the chassis
another tip is to drill an 8mm hole through the tube and its mount and put a bolt in, this stops the tube turning and lets you back the nut off a bit easier.

im going to check the state of the nuts and gaiters and endes today to see wehther i need to renew them.. If you read the first page of this thread the reason for needing two spanners is obvious. My 46mm spanner was about a tenner and is a proper bit of kit. As Sean says, a thick end of a spanner won't always fit between the cup for the rubber and the chassis, but that's nothing that five minutes with a grider won't solve.

Re: All about: 2CV suspension I've got one decent size spanner for leverage, and a shorted GM water pump spanner which is narrow enough to go on the nut and then to wedge against chassis or floor.
