If it does - How do you get back? My calculations using a 15" diameter wheel and using 63360 inches in a mile and a 200 mile journey - somebody will tell me about 250,000 revolutions ![]() The only thing to bodge this with is a condom! (Don't try sowing these up!) As Sean say's if it is a small tear then it might be better to glue, stitch or put a puncture patch on it I can see the plastic ravelling up and tearing the gaiter further OR it will get warm and fall off BUT - if you hadn't bodged it and it had split on a 200 mile journey you wouldn't have known until you got there. ![]() |

Welcome to my world, ![]() ![]() ![]() Yeah it'll work for a while, but will it hold the grease in the joint enough to prevent it getting damaged? It would have been good to pump an extra bit in through the split first. |
