Well, I seem to be keeping you all busy with my questions over my 2cv rebuild :D
Today's disaster is -whilst removing the rear drum (thanks Paul for the 44mm socket!), I decided to put new brake cylinders on, and just as well, as I spotted the very thin brake pipe had been crushed during transport I presume, plus it just looks like twisting in the rear of the cylinder, so today's question is, how do I get to the other end of the brake pipe? I don't have to remove the body do I?
Can I cut an inspection hatch out and cover it with a nice stainless cover?
Is there any option for joining the pipes with a compression union?
We have these in work, but the smallest bore they cover is 10mm for gas pilot valves.

Hi
This may help - you get at the end from below by the tank and take it out of the centre of the arm
