Poor surface could be inducing wheel patter, duff shocks or play in the shock mounts might be responsible - mounts unlikely if just mot'd but missing duff shocks on older cars is fairly common in my experience

Friends 2cv judders going around corners No idea how bad / scenario's but what could be the cause of this? New king pin fitted which i did (as per viking'a guide. All was perfect (went through mot no problems) no play all as it should Could it be wheel not balanced correctly? (New tyres fitted i think) or play in track rod end? Mine also does it round courners on a rubbish road surface too |

somethings worn or loose KP, steering arm/track rod, shock, axle tube chassis bolts steering rack guide ring etc new KP aren't always as tight as they should be out of the box |

Missing as in not noticing that there is a lack of damping rather than missing as in it fell off!  Painting them up so they are nice and shiney has been known to fool the mot man - not that I'm suggesting that anyone here would or should do that... Just saying. Otherwise, wot Sean said. m |

Alternatively, if you have friction dampers that you have never got round to adjusting then you have as much damping as if the hydraulic ones HAD fallen off. It makes for entertaining driving, causes the front overriders to hit the ground every so often and the great unwashed to point and larf (more than usual) as you lollop down the road in a series of wobbly bounds... |

Well it was fine when it was parked in august last year after mot failure I then did the kingpin in september and it sat until a week ago not moved and now it judders Still certain in my kingpin being fine |

Check the track rod/ball joint endy thingies.....if it still looks round you might  get away with tightening it up a little,if theres any sign what-so-ever of it being oval then replace them ......'cos an "oval shaped/rugby ball" end wont function properly and you could snap the arm.T. |
