Hi
Any ideas on how to fit a rev counter and which one to get.
Don't want to over rev my Visa engine

I bought this one and worked straight away. Just connect to coil etc..

I walked into a bike shop and bought a Harley Davidson tacho over the counter much cheaper than I found on Ebay, $AU40, full size 90mm, easy to wire in.
Harley Davidson Tacho
Smaller tachos start to loose resolution and accuracy I believe.

Kit,
one of these will also keep track of when you need to service the engine.
It shows 'hours run' when the engine's stopped, then automatically switches to tachometer mode as soon as the engine's running.
There's no wiring to sort out, just wrap the end of the trigger wire around one of the HT leads.

I use a similar one on my 2CV. Only issue with it is there is no backlight.

The old Harley ones have a nice feel about them, much more "period" than some modern stuff

I bought a used Stack tacho on eBay last year and its brilliant. It has a shift light and a telltale button. I'd reccomend it over cheapo eBay items.
