My holders (a new one and an old one) both don't do what they were supposed to do when I drive a bit faster or when the road is irregular. Indeed they frequently come off the metal window frames and let the windows swing, instead of keeping them still.

My solution was to make two simple brackets from some ali 15mm x 2mm flat strip cut to about 10cm long, with 5mm right angle bends at each end to form a [ shape one end is tapered to fit the window catch hole.The other end is held in place by the widow catch.No more flaping window.

] .....but the only prob is that I can never find them when I need them amongst the rest of the "junk,rubbish & rammel" which tends to reside on my parcel shelf.
