Post subject: | Lumenition electronic ignition hep please! |
Just putting my car back together and found out it has Lumienition ignition, its only got three wires red blue and black, which connect to a plug going to the module. This module has 6 wires, the three going to the points box on the engine ( the other part of the plug) and three other wires, The first is black and has a crimped connection that I presume is earthed to the body, 2nd is a red wire, presumed to be live? And the final one is grey? Anyone have a diagram for this or advise as to the correct connections please? Cheers Paul |

I fitted "Lumi." to my 1988 2CV [a basic "Spesh"] in 1998 .....in 2009 the R/H half of the engine destroyed itself.... [due to a collapsed rubber cowling .....not the Lumi ignitions fault, obviously.] The same Lumi system was then fitted [and the timing set] ....by "Uncle Ken" when he rebuilt my engine ......its been fine since. Fifteen years of not having to worry about timing, points & condensors ..... ![]() ![]() T. |
