As the title really. Not done this for years, so what's the best method (on car) and what's the best stuff to use. Ta Aidan |

cheapest veg oil from the cheapest discount supermarket sunflower- rapeseed type stuff |

as sean said, squirt it into the cans via the entry of the connecting rods theres a gap under the rubber shrouds i think i,m right in saying that u only need to do the 2 front ones as the oil will pass along to the rear side of the spring compartment |

[a picture speaks a thousand word]  ....hey Sean  .....only the best for my car matey ...  ....dont tell wifey though edit .....I do both ends myself [on my car] ..... allways park it on a hill [convenient,'cos I live on one] so that the oil can trickle downhill inside the can. best regards T. |

An small barrel oil pump is good for It. Sam still has mine. Need it back fieldmouse

ayjay, the rear ones, if your suspension is set up as it should be, nose down and tail up. Also worth jacking up and rotating cans if possible |

I am sure you should be able to rotate the cans without jacking the car up.I stand to be corrected .
