So, my Mehari has a standard late brake fluid reservoir with the little nib on top that you push in to see if there's enough brake fluid. There's two wires coming off terminals on the cap which I presume are to do with a low fluid level warning lamp. My problems: 1) I can't find a low brake fluid warning lamp on the dash of the Mehari. 2) On the switchboard there is a button that you press to see if the warning light (which I can't find) is working - the switch has three terminals on the back. Pressing the switch does nothing. 3? Could it be an illuminated switch? So, could I just remove the terminals from the reservoir cap and hope that the tester doesn't feel the need to check for a fluid level warning lamp? Make sense? |

Ok, ignore this, I pulled all the wiring out and re-did it from scratch. Problem solved ![]() I have a working low fluid level warning light and you can test the circuit by pressing the button on the dash. |

It's the one that lights up when you push the top of the float down, simulating low fluid level, and causing the terminals of the float to pass current. |
