I'm trying to build a Mehari gradually it may take a while as still in the process of finding alot of the parts for it. Basically have all the body a ton of 2cv/dyane parts and so far a few othe mehari parts a lhd axle so still a few bits to go!! Once the building gets underway I'll sort a thread on here. I've never had or worked on a mehari before so I'm looking to learn a lot about them and how they go together. So if anyone wants to share knowledge and advice please do so! My main questions currently are:

Tubular frames whats the diffrences in them 2 and four seats i can see are diffrence and also with 4x4 but what are the diffrences between old and new models? Are they interchangeable as a whole or bits of them? also with windscreens and weather gear are these different between the old and new models with the windscreens there appears to be steel framed and aluminium framed ones? Weather gear wise is there two types do i need a certain type for a certain to fit a certain type of windscreen etc?
