Hi Guys, I've got one of my rear arms in bits (standard late 2cv) and on taking the brake shoes out the two studs that the concentrics fit round at the bottom sheared off. With it stripped down it looks like they are pressed through from the back and welded in place. Has anyone else snapped these in the past and how did you fix it? Is it easier to source another rear arm? I checked ECAS but it doesn't appear that they sell the studs for the arms... |

I bent a pair when the shoe lining came adrift, I rang ECAS and bought a pair but they're no longer available. Just remove some from another arm and weld them in. It took me about 20 minutes, easy. |

Re-thread them, fit a 7 mm bolt and cut the head off. Use lock tight. Or if the new thread is good, use a 7 mm bolt only. |
