I know Joolz has done some research on this, many moons ago...
Thing is I may be getting a new flywheel machined up so I am thinking of fitting a larger clutch and pressure plate... Anyone know what 180mm clutch plate would fit a 2cv spline!?
My current setup is LNA gearbox with a Visa bellhousing and visa input shaft.

i have a feeling Ax and saxo 1.2 and 1.4 clutches have the same spline as 2cv

PS: Pony confirmed that the AX spline is .3-.5mm larger than 2cv therefore it doesn't fit!

Ha! Most of our cars are more like One piece at a time!

I'm still happy to stick with the 2cv one personally, when it's working properly it seems to be up to the job, and as Ken has pointed out before, it's best that the weakest link is something relatively cheap.

The secondhand Valeo that went in when the BM was first fitted lasted over 10,000 before the center splines broke out, and then the friction material was still OK, no sign of it slipping on the 0-70 on youtube.

The clutch that replaced it, a lesser brand, it is now slipping badly, but it may well be that the gear oil leak has reached it.

I'll be replacing it with another Valeo, but will probably add a bit of weld to the center.

I'd suspect that a heavier-duty (less light-duty?) clutch isn't only bigger diameter, but heftier metal in the centre, too, so whilst the friction material wasn't the problem, upgrading would resolve the issue you did have, too.
