This ones been puzzling me for a long time now and was wondering if anyone else knows has seen one. The picture is not very good but I am talking about the light to the left of the normal light unit. It takes the same bulb as the brake light if I remember correctly.



The light on the dash that activates it has a foglight symbol on it. However I have never seen one on another D*lly (or Special or Charleston for that matter). Every other 2CV I have seen has the foglight attached to the bumper, and as I have heard often gets knocked off. When I took it down to get its pre-MOT check at the 2CV guy, he said that Donna would likely fail its MOT for not having a foglight (and need of welding and suspension, but thats another story!).

So, any ideas?

Yes that has to be your required rear guard fog light.

A more likely fail cause is not having an effective numberplate light on that side.

Thought you sold your car..?

My fella talked me out of it... and promised to pay to get it through its MOT. He has been saving hard for the last 6 months bless him!
