Post subject:  Difference between an 85 and an 89 special?
Hi, could we compile a list of all the differences between an 85 and an 89 special?
Footman james can't insure me because it isn't 85 or before, so I'd like a list to present them with to show how insignificant the differences are?

Rear bumper width.
Different dash knobs.
Place of production.
'Citroen' boot badge had lost the chevrons by '89.
Plastic headlamp bowls on the '89.

Covina glass on the 89 and Saint Cobain on the 85. Black door hinges on the 85 and body colour on the 89?

Not sure about that. Mine's an 85, no modifications...

I read this in a letter from them the other day. I too will like to fight. If youneed me to phone them or anything let me know. More than happy to help.
