Would this work with an AZU

Seen them before but as I was looking at hiring a trailer for the weekend at around €200 this could be a cheaper option.

what do you think.

Have use a similar device, just use with care, roundabouts, tight bends especially, also the braking is all done by the tow car.

how does it connect to the car.

I would use a renault Trafic to tow the AZU so should be OK. But just worried about scraping the front of the car.

if you use that "a" frame device in the uk, the vehicle being towed has to be taxed/ insured and an mot :!:
a trailor is the best thing

IMO it's an unbraked trailer, with the limitations that apply re weight.

Seen them, here's a version by our favourite 'restorer' up north.

The car will be road legal, just driving 300km each way is a little too much for the little van.

So it wouldn't damage the front end then, thinking about scuffing the front when it turns etc

We have one of them, must have towed 20 cars with it over the years. Straps tight to the front arms, follows the lead car like a pup, however make sure suspension and steering on towed car are ok, also helps to wind up the front suspension an inch or so to stop the frame fouling the front of the car.

Down sides- lead car takes all the effort of braking, and towed car can sometimes start to rock side to side in slip stream, making lead car weave. Take your time and stop now and then to double check ratchets and all is usually good.

Turning circle increased as wheels foul a frame arms on full lock .

All in all? Worth every penny.
