Anyone done this succesfully?
Id like to replace the horrible brittle soundproofing above the shelf in the front on the bulkhead. As well as below but cant seem to find it on any suppliers websites.

I replaced mine, during the restoration of my van.
This is modern stuff, thinner than the old one.
It is a very difficult job, to do it properly, and it does not fit very well, I had to cut mine to have a proper fit.
Best is to remove the whole dashboard .

I made some templates, and bought some good quality soundproofing from somewhere in Cwmbran.Stuck it on with good quality glue, not the spray stuff, thats crap.the put some black carpet over it.Looks good.I have the templates in my garage if you want some.

I covered the original stuff with grey Berber type carpet tiles, these were used above the dash,on the parcel shelf and bulk head.I also have thick carpet on the front and rear floors, using the rubbers as templates. This has made the car a lot quieter besides I like the dark red carpet! The boot is floored out and carpeted also....
